The field supervisor of Fresh & Fair is continuosly guiding the farmers on crop quality. Shortfalls in quality requirements are brought to the notice of farmers immdiately. Crop which does not qualify to the specifications will not harvested by Fresh & Fair. This ensures that only the fruit conforming to the quality specifications reaches the supermarkets.
Yes, Fresh & Fair shows final account sales of a particular container only to respective farmers whose produce is packed in that particular container.
No, company does not provide any advances to farmers. Company will transfer the payments to farmers account only after receipt from importers.
As far as possible company will not harvest non-registered plots but if there is additional requirement from importers then these plots will be harvested. In such cases, Fresh & Fair will ensure that the quality norms prescribed by the importer are not compromised.
No, company does not charge any additional cost of certification and lab analysis from JV farmers. This cost is already included in fixed cost declared per box before the season starts.
Though, this cost will have to be paid for fixed-rate famers.
Yes, farmer has to renew his registration with the company every year.
